Bremerhaven in cruise fever: four ships in one weekend!
In the 26th calendar week of 2025, Bremerhaven will become a cruise hotspot, as four ships will moor in the port city. From Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 29th, residents and visitors can look forward to a lot of activity in the harbor. There is a lot to discover, especially on the first and last day!
On Friday, June 27th, two ships from Phoenix Reisen will reach the pier at Columbuskaje. The “Artania” carries up to 1,260 guests who arrive from Bergen (Norway) and continue to Ålesund (Norway). The second ship of the day, the “Deutschland”, has space for 520 guests and comes from Portland (Great Britain), her destination is Texel (Netherlands). This is sure to be an exciting day for cruise enthusiasts in the region!
Quiet Saturday and impressive Sunday
Saturday, June 28th, however, remains calm, which ensures some relaxation in the harbor. Sunday, June 29th will be a highlight for all TUI Cruises fans: The “Mein Schiff 3” will dock and can welcome up to 2,506 guests. The ship comes from Invergordon (Great Britain) and stays in the Scottish city for a circuit. A great experience for anyone who wants to explore the beauty of the surrounding area!
The Bremerhaven Cruise Port seems to be very popular in the 2025 summer season anyway, as the list of planned ship arrivals is impressive. In total, several ships from TUI Cruises and Phoenix Reisen will visit the city. Kreuzfahrtpiraten has compiled an overview of arrivals, which provides a deeper insight into the numerous cruises.
The next slide
The places for the ships on Columbuskaje are very popular with visitors. The ships are only about two kilometers from the city, allowing visitors to quickly explore the surrounding area. The Columbus Cruise Center Bremerhaven, which was inaugurated on May 2, 2003, has established itself as an important contact point for the cruise industry and will continue to act as a magnet for cruise enthusiasts.
However, according to recent news from Nord24, some ship arrival and departure times are still provisional and subject to change, which only adds to the excitement. But despite the slight uncertainty, the anticipation of the arriving passengers is palpable and the city seems ready to show its best sides!
Bremerhaven, a place on the move, welcomes the cruise ships with open arms and promises its guests unforgettable experiences. The coming weekends are likely to be a big celebration not only for travelers, but also for the city of Bremerhaven.
