It's going to be busy in Bremen on Friday! The sixth Christmas tractor lights ride is just around the corner and promises a festive spectacle for the whole family. Under the motto “A Spark of Hope,” around 70 decorated tractors parade through the streets of the city. Jens Heumann, the organizer of the event, spent a day and a half with his family decorating their tractor for Christmas. It starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Marschgehren in Blumenthal, where thousands of spectators will gather to admire the colorful hustle and bustle. The route leads through various parts of the city and ends in Überseestadt, where the pre-Christmas atmosphere comes to life. The police have already warned of temporary road closures and recommend using alternative routes to get into the action - Weser-Kurier reports.
The light trips have developed into a solid tradition in Bremen and the surrounding area. Every year they attract numerous visitors and provide pre-Christmas joy. The next highlight in the region will follow on Sunday, December 7th, 2025. The next light trip will start at Herzogenkamp in Horn at 4 p.m. This route takes you, among other things, to Lilienthal and Frankenburg - a lovely experience for young and old while spreading Christmas spirit. The trip is scheduled to end in Worpswede at exactly 7:10 p.m. Here too, numerous lights will shine in the darkness and focus on the work of agriculture - as can also be found in the tender: "A spark of hope - without farmers it doesn't work," says t-online.
Special events for children
On December 4th there will also be a light trip for children in Oyten, organized by the Wümme Weser rural youth group. Here, little guests are invited to take part with decorated pedal tractors, scooters, bicycles and even DinoCars. The meeting point is at 5:30 p.m. at the Pestalozzischule Oyten. On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, December 14th, there will be a regular candlelight tour through Oyten and Bassen. This starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Combi parking lot in Oyten and also promises a lot of fun for the whole family. At the grand finale, the children are invited to join in the celebrations on Sunday, December 7th. The Scharnhorst village association is organizing a candlelight trip that will start at 4:30 p.m. at the village community center. Here the little ones can meet Santa Claus, who will pay a short visit during the tour. Great fun for the whole family! The pre-Christmas atmosphere in the air and the glowing tractors promise unforgettable experiences for everyone.
