Altona 93 celebrates ascent: New stars and fresh wind in the team!

What a day for the Altona football club! On June 30, 2025, the team officially celebrated the promotion to the Regionalliga Nord. Head coach Andreas Bergmann is convinced that the current squad is well prepared for the challenges of the new league. "We have a competitive team," said Bergmann proudly. Ragnar Törber, the second chairman, and Gianluca Przondziono supported this assessment and are optimistic about the coming season.

But there was not only positive news. The club has to separate from eight players, including well -known names such as Lawrence Schön, Eudel Monteiro and Oliver Doege. These changes could be a challenge, but the focus is now on the newcomers that are supposed to bring fresh wind into the team.

A real stroke of luck is Nils Brüning, who with his 211 regional league games is a valuable addition to the defensive. Emmanuel Ntsiakoh, who moves from FC Teutonia 05 to Altona 93, is also to strengthen the team. The defensive also gains growth from Josh Redfield, which originally comes from California. This shows that Altona 93 is ready to look beyond the national borders to sign the best talents.

But not only the defensive is reinforced: Emmanuel Appiah brings valuable joy of playing from the U21 of the HSV, while Tayfun Can, the central midfielder, will bring his regional league experiences from ETSV Hamburg. Bendix Gelzer and Keenon Erfurth, who change from SV Eichede, also have the potential to enrich the team.
