A suspected knife attack occurred in the Wangen district of Stuttgart on the evening of October 27, 2025. According to information from stern.de one person was seriously injured. The perpetrator is still on the run, which has naturally caused concern among local residents.
The incident occurred around 10:15 p.m., as reported by dpa and also by Zeit.de is confirmed. Several police forces and a police helicopter were quickly on site to bring the situation under control. Fortunately, a police spokesman confirmed that there was never a life-threatening danger to the public. However, the helicopter was soon withdrawn, possibly after initial assessments of the situation.
