Professor Rudolf Simek, who provides scientific support for the exhibition, underlines the balance between fantasy and facts that has been achieved here. “We show the Vikings not only as warriors, but also as traders and cultural workers,” he adds. The echo chamber, which represents the legacy of the Vikings, provides, among other things, the connection to modern DNA.
