Free entry day: Free films at the Hamburg Film Festival!

An exciting cinema event is coming up in Hamburg! On October 3, 2025, the so-called “Free Entry Day” will be celebrated again as part of the “Filmfest Hamburg”. Cinema lovers can rejoice: On this day, films can be watched for free in several Hamburg cinemas. The participating cinemas include the Abaton, the Studio-Kino, the Metropolis, the Cinemaxx am Dammtor and the Passage-Kino. But the focus is not just on the big day of free entry: the entire “Filmfest Hamburg” event will also take place this year from September 25th to October 4th, 2025.
