The Bundesliga transfer window opened today and it is immediately causing a lot of excitement. A whole series of transfers took effect on July 1st and the rumor mill is churning. Loud ZDF 66 additions with a total value of almost 250 million euros and 75 departures worth almost 300 million euros have already been decided. Here it becomes clear: Something is happening in German football!
A highlight among the transfers is the move of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool FC for the impressive sum of 125 million euros. This makes this transfer the second most expensive in Bundesliga history. According to the same source, Bayer Leverkusen is planning to make active transfers after several players left the club. However, the club has so far only invested a small part of Wirtz's income in the young player Ibrahim Maza.
The challenges of the clubs
Bayern Munich in particular is facing major challenges. Max Eberl, the club's sports director, expresses concerns about the high financial requirements. Among other things, he is demanding a top offensive player to compensate for the departures of stars like Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller and Mathys Tel. Bayern doesn't just have to contend with competition from other clubs. A talent like Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart is in great demand, and the Stuttgart team is demanding at least 100 million euros for the young striker. Income from a possible transfer of Woltemade could ultimately help Bayern find an adequate replacement for the players who have left.

A look at VfB Stuttgart shows that the team is soaring 4-2 after winning the DFB Cup against Arminia Bielefeld. The most recent game against 1. FC Union Berlin on St. Nicholas Day is also mentioned. Stuttgart was 2-0 down at one point, but was able to fight back and win the game 3-2. Nick Woltemade, who only came on as a half-time substitute, scored two important goals. Werder Bremen and the youngsters
