FC Bayern welcomes new Audi company cars: hybrid power for the stars!
FC Bayern Munich has once again taken to the streets of Germany - with a very special fleet! The official handover of the new company cars by the main sponsor Audi took place on October 24, 2025 at the Audi Piazza in Ingolstadt. Players were able to choose from an impressive selection of vehicles that were not only stylish but also environmentally friendly.
This season, many Bayern stars opted for hybrid and fully electric models. For example, team captain Manuel Neuer chose the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e in elegant Mythos Black Metallic. His teammate Serge Gnabry also picked up the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e, but in the eye-catching Glacier White Metallic color. Alphonso Davies, known for his speed on the field, relied on the sporty RS e-tron GT performance in Mythos Black Metallic – a real highlight of the handover.
Variety of models
The variety of models reflects the demands of the players. Most of them chose the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e, which comes in different colors. Luis Díaz and newcomer Nicolas Jackson both chose the Audi Q8 SUV TFSI e in Mythos Black Metallic, while Min-jae Kim and Sascha Boey preferred a Daytona Gray pearl effect. The only special feature among the choices was the extraordinary waitomo blue metallic, which Hiroki Ito chose.
The younger players in particular, including Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, were enthusiastic about the all-electric RS e-tron GT performance. Tom Bischof, on the other hand, as the only player who chose the Audi Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron, makes the future of football tangible. Joshua Kimmich, the father of four, chose the Audi Q7 SUV S line TFSI e quattro in order to have enough space for the family.
Tradition and partnership
The vehicle handover is more than just an event, it is deeply rooted in the tradition of FC Bayern. Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern, emphasized during the event the importance of this partnership with Audi, which has existed since 2002 and has also linked Audi to the club as a shareholder since 2011. Brands like Audi use such opportunities to also focus on electromobility and present the latest technologies, which, according to Marco Schubert, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, represents a win-win situation for both sides.
A highlight of the event was the opportunity for the players to test their driving skills on the dynamic area and the handling course of the Audi driving experience. The enthusiasm was palpable - the Audi RS e-tron GT performance in particular made many smiling faces. The event was also a complete success for Audi employees: Over 100 employees had the opportunity to meet the players in person and some were even able to hand them the keys to the new vehicles.
With the choice of new company cars, FC Bayern Munich not only shows its proximity to one of the largest German automobile manufacturers, but also that sustainability and innovation are firmly anchored in club life. From players for players – and maybe a little for the environment too!
