Christmas market on St. Pauli: curling and mulled wine from November 12th!
It's going to be Christmassy in St. Pauli! The Christmas market at the Rindermarkthalle opens its doors on November 12, 2025. The popular location, previously known as Karo Beach, has been extensively redesigned and now offers a colorful ambience for the cold season. The market will be open to visitors until December 23, 2025, with a short break over the holidays.
What can visitors expect? Have a lot of fun with **curling**! Hamburg.t-online.de reports that a total of seven modern plastic lanes are available. The offer is aimed at groups of up to eight people per lane, who can play for 59 euros an hour. The magnificent tracks, which are equipped with really heavy curling material, promise an exciting experience for young and old.
Culinary delicacies
But it's not just curling that is at the center of the action. The culinary offerings are also impressive! Non-stockskating enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. Enjoy a large swivel grill with burgers, pizza, falafel and, without question, the much sought-after curly fries with truffle dip. Classics such as kale and the traditional currywurst are also included. The hearty highlights are accompanied by an exquisite selection of hot drinks, including mulled wine in rosé and white as well as refreshing Aperol Spritz and Hot Don Limoncello.
If you want to treat yourself to an evening at the Christmas market, you can use the practical consumption chips that are used for cashless payments at the various stands. These are sold for 5.20 euros and can easily be redeemed for food and drinks, making the evening seamless. According to Eisstock Hamburg, local prices are usually cheaper than the value of a chip, which is quite beneficial for your wallet.
Music and entertainment
That's where the mood comes in! A DJ will regularly provide the background music, so that the Christmas market is not only a feast for the stomach, but also for the ears. Opening times are Monday to Saturday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. So: Don't miss the opportunity to experience the winter magic in St. Pauli.
In the best case scenario, the Christmas market in St. Pauli will be an unforgettable experience for everyone who comes together to get in the mood for the contemplative time of the year. Whether curling or enjoying culinary delicacies, there is something for everyone here!
