Anklam's traditional business is moving: new store opens on November 3rd!

The traditional garden and motor equipment company in Anklam, founded in 1987 by Manfred Ranz, is about to make an exciting new start. With a new opening on November 3, 2025, the family business is moving to new premises on Johann-Friedrich-Boettger-Straße in the Anklam industrial area. Until this date, the company will remain closed due to moving work from October 27th, as the Northern Courier reported.

The company has had an exciting development: Originally started as a repair shop for power tools and garden equipment, the trade in motor equipment was intensified after reunification. Since 1995, daughter Karin has been running the business together with her son-in-law Maik Steffen. In 2021, Manfred Ranz handed over management to his grandson Robert Steffen, who joined the company in 2014 and previously worked as a warehouse logistics specialist. With the move to the new premises, the business area will double to 120 square meters, ensuring there is enough space for customers and a large selection of equipment.

Wide range and service offerings

The new store offers customers a wide selection of lawn mowers, lawn tractors, brushcutters and chainsaws. The focus is particularly on robotic lawnmowers from the Husqvarna brand, which are now very popular due to their popularity. The company's employees do everything they can to offer the best devices and are always available to provide individual advice. Regular training with manufacturers ensures that the team is always up to date with the latest technology, as the company website says: motorgeraete-anklam.de.

From professional installation to maintenance and repairs – we know how to make hobby gardeners and professionals happy. Prospective customers receive comprehensive advice not only in the new business premises, but also on site. Especially in the winter, employees use the opportunity to maintain the equipment and prepare it for the coming season.

Space for parking and large rooms

The new business premises are not only characterized by a large amount of space, but also offer sufficient parking space, which makes the visit more pleasant for customers. The bright and spacious rooms invite you to take a look around and explore what is on offer. The impending move had become necessary because the space at the old location on Pasewalker Allee was no longer sufficient to meet the company's needs.

It seems that Robert Steffen also has the right feel for the business in the new environment. The next few weeks promise to be exciting. Customers are warmly invited to help shape the new beginning and stop by on opening day!
