Firefighting elite at the Seeholz Cup: competitions and celebrations for everyone!

Next Saturday, July 18th, 2025, the football field in Murchin near Anklam will be transformed into an arena for firefighting sports. The fifth Seeholz Cup is taking place there, and the anticipation of the participants and fans is palpable. The event starts at 11 a.m. and awaits both locals and fire service enthusiasts from the region.

The Seeholz Cup is not just any competition - here the best men's, women's and youth teams compete in exciting disciplines. A very special highlight are the reigning Olympic champions in firefighting, who will demonstrate their skills in the final deciding races in the MV Cup. There are a total of three tracks on which the competitions are held, which should ensure plenty of action and excitement. Nordkurier reports that the smaller participants don't miss out either: the children have the opportunity to really let off steam on a bouncy castle.

Connection between sport and community

The Murchin fire department and the SV Murchin/Rubkow sports club have agreed to organize the event. The field of participants includes all interested fire departments, who must be registered by 10:30 a.m. on the day of the event. The DFV competition regulations for fire service sports competitions are applied to ensure that everything is fair and according to the applicable rules.

There are numerous delicacies for hungry spectators: grilled dishes, chips, ice cream, coffee and cake are on the menu. The culinary offering leaves nothing to be desired and contributes to the convivial atmosphere. Following the competitions, there will be a public party in the marquee, which will provide the perfect end to the day.
