Next Saturday, July 18, 2025, the soccer field from Murchin near Anklam is transformed into an arena of fire brigade. The fifth sea wood cup takes place there, and the anticipation of the participants and fans is tangible. The event begins at 11 a.m. and expects both locals and fire brigade sports enthusiasts from the region.

The Seeholz Cup is not just any competition- here the best men's, women's and youth teams compete in exciting disciplines. A very special highlight are the reigning Olympic champions in fire brigade, who will demonstrate their skills in the final decision-making runs in the MV-Cup. There are a total of three lanes on which the competitions are held, which should ensure sufficient action and enthusiasm. Nordkurier reports that even the smaller participants are not neglected: the children have the opportunity to get stuck properly via a bouncy castle.

Connection of sport and community

The Murchiner fire brigade and the sports club SV Murchin/Rubkow have agreed to organize the event. The field of participants includes all interested fire brigades that must be registered on the day of the event by 10.30 a.m. The DFV competition regulations for fire brigade sports competitions are used to ensure that everything is fair and according to the applicable rules.

There are numerous delicacies for hungry viewers: grilled dishes, fries, ice cream, coffee and cake are on the menu. The culinary offer leaves nothing to be desired and contributes to the social atmosphere. Following the competitions, a public party takes place in the marquee, which will ensure the perfect end of the day.
