Soibelmann's sports hotel about to close: jobs at risk!
The Soibelmanns Sporthotel in Samtens, a popular destination for active holidaymakers, is currently under discussion. According to a report by the Baltic Sea newspaper The operators plan to close the hotel in the off-season. This raises concerns that the closure may not be temporary. As Dirk Hausweiler, the operational managing director of the employment agency, emphasizes, the economic structure in Western Pomerania-Rügen is heavily influenced by tourism. Unemployment on Rügen has fallen by 128 people, while Stralsund has the highest unemployment rate in the agency district at 12.1%. Hotels like the Soibelmanns Sporthotel play an essential role in securing employment this season.
Changes in Bergen and gastronomy campaign
