on Friday morning, around 9:30 a.m., a dramatic effort was reported in the mother-child clinic in Baabe on the island of Rügen. A deflection in the kitchen area led to dense smoke development, which promptly called the rescue workers on the scene. Over 120 firefighters, police and emergency services moved in with a large contingent to cope with the situation, as the Baltic Sea newspaper reports.

The evacuation of the entire building was initiated immediately. Firefighters from the surrounding places, including Baabe, Sellin, Göhren, Lancken-Granitz and Middelhagen, were used. Two emergency doctors and 20 first aiders of the "fast operating group rescue" were also at the site. Fortunately, only three kitchen employees were slightly injured and treated on site, which the severity of the situation alleviated.

What happened also shows the rapid reaction of the emergency services: After a thorough review, the fire brigade gave the all -clear. There was no open fire, and the company's operation could be continued after about two hours.

The role of the fire brigade
