Discover the architecture: Architecture Day in 16 cities in MV!

Now the time has come, the last weekend in Juni is just around the corner and thus also the highly expected day of architecture in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. On June 28 and 29, 2025, the diversity of building will be celebrated in 16 cities. These events offer an insight into buildings that are otherwise not accessible and make the region's architectural heritage tangible. The President of the Chamber of Architects MV, Christoph Meyn, invites all citizens: inside, to actively deal with architecture.

from Stralsund to Rostock and from Wismar to Neubrandenburg, the participating cities are as colorful as the program itself. In recent years, the architecture day has established itself in the event calendar, and there will also be a varied offer in 2025. In addition to tours and tours, city walks, construction site tours as well as lectures and workshops are on the program. The focus is on the motto "Building Diversity" and reflects the different facets of architecture presented by the participating cities. architecture in Berlin: Another highlight

At the same time for the event in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a similar spectacle takes place in Berlin. The program on the same weekend offers over 150 individual appointments to around 80 different offers in all districts of the capital. Organized by members of the Berlin Chamber of Architects, the day of architecture is also under the motto "Building diversity".

In Berlin, visitors can discover the latest developments in architecture, urban planning as well as indoor and landscape architecture inside. 48 Current projects are made accessible by guided tours, and 31 architectural offices open their doors to a look behind the scenes. Here, too, great importance is placed on topics such as climate and resource protection and social cohesion. Special examples are kindergartens, schools and innovative usage concepts for old existing buildings.
