Greifswald: New property management company Liveno starts operations!
The housing management in Greifswald is facing a fresh change. The Sparkasse Vorpommern and the Greifswald Housing Cooperative (WGG) have joined forces and founded the company Liveno. This new company has set itself the goal of offering modern, customer-oriented housing management that is characterized not only by digitalization, but also by a comprehensive range of services. Klaas Schäfer, the WGG board member, will take over the management of Liveno, which is based at Bahnhofstrasse 6.
An offer of specialization
Liveno will deal with economic planning, annual accounts and the management of rental apartments, but not with the placement of prospective tenants. Ulrich Wolff, CEO of the Sparkasse, emphasizes the need for modernized administrative structures in Greifswald. In particular, the withdrawal of many administrators who became active after the political change left a gap that Liveno would like to close with his expertise.
A key concern of Liveno is digitalization. This should not only make the processes more efficient, but also create more transparency for customers. “The WGG has been looking for ways to improve the management of its apartments for a long time,” explains Wolff. This novel approach could not only benefit the WGG itself, but also the housing market in Greifswald.
Attractive employer and retention of skilled workers
The WGG also intends to position itself as a more sustainable and attractive employer in order to retain qualified specialists in the company in the long term. Liveno's service prices are individually designed so that they can vary depending on the scope of services and requirements. This flexibility is also likely to attract a lot of interest as it can meet the different needs of customers.
Data and digitalization in housing construction
In the context of the housing industry, the handling of data is becoming increasingly important. Here too, an analysis shows that over 60% of companies have now implemented a data strategy. The relevance of data quality is constantly increasing in order to be able to make well-founded decisions. According to a study by Deloitte, data should play a central role in companies' operational and strategic decisions by 2025.
There are also challenges in dealing with technical building data and data protection. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is often perceived as an obstacle to economic success. Solutions will be required to combine both data protection and attractive business models. Clear communication about the benefits and relevance of data in daily work will be crucial.
The developments around Liveno and the advancing digitalization in the housing industry show that this is an exciting time in which not only the services offered, but also the overall picture of housing management in Greifswald are being realigned. In the future, tenants could benefit from unprecedented transparency and professionalism that Liveno brings to the market.
