NB-Darts remains undefeated: Mattes Holtz leads to victory!
In an exciting game in the East Association League, the darts club NB-Darts impressively consolidated its top position on December 2nd, 2025. The team that beat the Dartclub Plötz 13:7 in the top game remains unbeatable and thus achieved their fifth victory in their fifth game. Mattes Holtz was the undisputed star of the evening, not giving up a single point in his six games and thus making a significant contribution to the success. Marko Bag (2), Silvio Kuhtz (3) and Kevin Schimmelpfennig (3) also contributed to the well-deserved victory with strong performances.
Particularly noteworthy is the impressive performance of Ronny Raatz from Team Plötz, who scored a total of 160 points with three darts, but was unable to prevent NB-Darts from leaving the field as winners. The team's record remains flawless - a real feat considering how competitive the league is. This is also underlined by the growing popularity of darts in Germany, where more and more players and clubs are committed to the competition. As the iDarts Darts Statistics platform shows, darts in Germany are increasingly gaining members and tournaments, which is reflected in the increasing number of members of the German Dart Association. From 2018 to 2024, this number increased by an impressive 68% to almost 20,000. A great sign for the future of the game.
Challenges for the second and third
The third team also had less success and lost 5:15 against SG Reinkenhagen II in their own living room. Christian Student was the bright spot of the evening and scored three of the five points for his team. There was also a defeat in the state cup game against the Dartfighters Greifswald II with 2:12. Unfortunately, the quarter-finals of the cup will now be played without Neubrandenburg's participation, which is a bitter disappointment for everyone involved.
A look at the darts scene
In this dynamic environment, our local club also shows that darts is not just a game, but now an exciting sport that brings many people together. The large audience in the halls and the positive development of the clubs are a good sign that darts is continuing to improve. The commitment to young people is also supported by the establishment of dart schools and sports policy initiatives. Where is the enthusiasm for darts still very popular?
