Oktoberfest finale at the museum harbor: pork knuckles, brass music and fun!
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the museum harbor in Greifswald will be the venue for the eagerly awaited Oktoberfest. Organized by BT-Events, the celebration starts at 4 p.m. with entry and things really get going at 5 p.m. Until midnight, guests have the opportunity to celebrate in a convivial atmosphere and enjoy Bavarian hospitality.
The Oktoberfest sees itself as a social festival and offers an excellent program for this. Not only that Baltic Sea newspaper highlights that the Oktoberfest wind orchestra “Pommeranian Brass Band” and the DJ “Melody” will provide the musical entertainment. Visitors can also look forward to a wide range of culinary offerings, ranging from hearty dishes such as knuckles, bratwurst, fries and burgers to freshly tapped beer. Special highlights are the beer in the measure or half measure - an absolute must for all beer lovers!
Tickets and specials
Tickets cost 20 euros at the box office. But there is also a special Haxenstadl ticket for 32 euros, which also includes a Haxen meal. How allevents.in reports, advance ticket sales started on September 22nd and the tickets are available at several locations in Greifswald, including the Stegmann tank stop and the city information center. Table reservations are also possible for groups of eight people or more. Companies have the opportunity to use Oktoberfest as a company party. Contact points such as Tobias Lembke are available to provide information in order to tailor the event.
The Oktoberfest has brought many people together in recent years and is also celebrated as a kind of tradition by the citizens of the region. This is exactly what fits in with the general festivities as they began historically - the first Oktoberfest took place in Munich in 1810 in honor of a royal wedding and quickly developed into the largest folk festival in the world. Memmingen brewery writes that Bavarian beer culture is thriving throughout Germany and especially in smaller towns like Greifswald, where local celebrations have their own charm and strengthen community.
A feast for all senses
The atmosphere will be unique - with brass bands, regional specialties and of course the typical cosiness that characterizes Oktoberfest. The motto “Oans, two, g’suffa!” perfectly expresses the joy and togetherness and makes you curious about the celebrations in the museum harbor.
Greifswald and the surrounding area can look forward to an unforgettable evening. The combination of Bavarian tradition, musical entertainment and festive atmosphere promises to be a highlight in the region's event calendar. Be there and celebrate with us!
