Castle garden run: Over 600 participants celebrate sporting folk festival!

The Ludwigsluster Schlossgarten Run on Sunday has developed into a true folk festival with over 600 participants. Numerous relatives and friends actively cheered on the runners, which contributed to a great atmosphere. The organizers from SG 03 were enthusiastic about the high number of registrations, the original 530 expectations were far exceeded. One reason for the record participation was certainly the fantastic weather, which was the framework for this popular event. The large number of participants in children, adolescents and walkers who provided a breath of fresh air and warm enthusiasm was particularly gratifying.

A highlight of the castle garden is the main run over ten kilometers, which is created in rounds over five kilometers and is suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. Mayor Stefan Pinnow did not miss the opportunity to take part in the main run and warmly to greet the athletes in the start area. The event location, the Schlosspark Ludwigslust, and the site of the Lenné School served as a base for runners and organizers, while the audience sprayed great charisma and energy.

The different running and walking routes are designed so that there is something for everyone. There are distances of 2, 5, 10 and 15 kilometers as well as walking distances of 5 and 10 kilometers.
