The park has changed significantly since the 18th century, with significant personalities such as Duke Friedrich der Fromme, Friedrich Franz I and the landscape designer Peter-Joseph Lenné left their mark. Over 300 different trees and shrubs make the Ludwigslust castle park a real attraction for nature lovers.
