Big anniversary: ELBLAND Festival invite you to the Festival of Lights of Dreams!
Wittenberge, Deutschland - In Wittenberge, everything revolves around music and dreams on 11th and 12th July: The Elbland Festival celebrate their 25th anniversary with a special event that is under the motto "Festival of Lights of Dreams". The venue are the atmospheric premises of the old oil mill, which prove to be a perfect setting for this big anniversary.
The Elbland Festival not only celebrate a quarter of a century of cultural diversity this year, but also a turning point in its success story. The 26th edition next year brings fresh formats to the stage, but remains loyal to the high musical quality and the open-air experience.

What can visit visitors? A shiny line-up with varied performances! Among other things, the Italian singers of "Appassionante" appear, who are enthusiastic about their mixture of opera and pop music. The “Impulso Tenors”, an international tenor project, are also expected. As special guests, Angelika Milster, known from the musical "Cats", as well as Phil Bates, former member of Elo Part II, rock the stage.
Another highlight is Jochen Kowalski's appearance, a celebrated countertenor who was already enthusiastic about the audience in 2009. Steffi Irmen, another star of the evening, will give insights into their current solo musical. The whole thing is musically framed under the direction of the renowned film orchestra Babelsberg, conducted by Christian Köhler.

There is also special attention to the promotion of young artists: the soprano and cellist Lara Hüsges and the bariton Yiogo Ioannou give their best and demonstrate their talented skills. Both artists stand for the cultural diversity, which will continue to remain a central part of the Elbland Festival in the future.

The guests can easily reach Wittenberge with the RE8 from Berlin, Nauen and Neustadt (Dosse) or with the Re6 from Wittstock (Dosse), Pritzwalk and Perleberg. At the end of the event there is an additional rail connection, including the RE8 at 00:07 a.m. to Nauen and the S1 to Stendal at 11:07 pm.
