A real riot occurred on Thursday evening in the parking lot of a supermarket on Lindenstrasse in Neubrandenburg. At around 6 p.m., a loud argument called the police to the scene. On site, officers encountered a 21-year-old man and two women who quickly became involved in the heated argument. In a scenario reminiscent of a scandal from a play, the young man harassed passers-by and insulted the police officers when they arrived.
The 21-year-old showed little insight and offered extreme resistance when the officers tried to stop him. In order to control the situation, the man was tied up. A subsequent breath alcohol test revealed a level of 1.15 per mille, which could well explain his aggressive behavior. He was eventually taken into custody, but the story didn't end there.
Women's power in times of crisis
One of the female companions, a 24-year-old, also did not hold back. While the man's resistance to the police officers escalated, she attacked the police officers. However, her attack did not go unnoticed and the officers were quickly able to keep her at bay and pin her to the ground. The 24-year-old's breath alcohol test revealed that she even had a higher blood alcohol level of 1.74.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in this incident. Criminal charges were filed against the two actors in this dazzling scene for insulting and resisting law enforcement officers. The police were unimpressed and are now taking the appropriate measures.
The supermarket as a place of escalation
A supermarket parking lot is not usually the scene of such drama. Perhaps this will open up a discussion about the effects of alcohol and the associated dangers in public.
