Airbeat One 2025: 200,000 fans celebrate the Spanish dream in Glewe!

The Airbeat One Festival 2025, which took place from July 13th to 16th at Neustadt-Glewe airfield, captivated around 200,000 celebrating visitors. Under the colorful motto “Viva España”, the festival participants experienced an artistic fusion of music, culture and gastronomy. Over 250 DJs and artists created a unique atmosphere with over 225 hours of music on six different stages. Highlights included the performances by Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and Neelix on the final day, who brought the festival to a climax with electrifying beats.

The uniquely designed stage was reminiscent of the world-famous Sagrada Família cathedral in Barcelona and was designed with great attention to detail. Visitors could not only enjoy the beats, but also Spanish-inspired food stalls and impressive walking acts, which enriched the scenery with flamenco-inspired dancers. This combination made for an unforgettable experience that gave celebrants the opportunity to immerse themselves in another world.

Difficulty leaving the premises

Unfortunately, the departure from the parking lots did not go smoothly. Usual waiting times were caused by an accident with three minor injuries, which extended the journey home somewhat for many visitors. Despite these incidents, the mood remained peaceful throughout the festival.

Drug problems and safety precautions

Police arrested a drug dealer during the festival, underlining ongoing investigations into theft, assault and use of anti-constitutional slogans. Drug use at festivals is a serious issue, as toxic contaminants in party drugs pose a further risk. According to information from the AOK, half a pill can lead to an overdose, as buyers on the black market often do not know the exact dosage of the active ingredient and contamination by other chemicals can cause dangerous side effects. This problem can be observed particularly at highly frequented events such as Airbeat One, where consumption increases and demand can greatly influence quality.

Outlook on future festival editions

The next edition of the Airbeat One Festival will take place from July 9th to 12th, 2026, and the theme will celebrate the Netherlands. Advance sales for this event begin on July 14, 2025, where fans will once again have the opportunity to enjoy a weekend full of music, dance and cultural experiences. Information about purchasing tickets and using the festival app is already available on the official website airbeat-one.de. The organizers are looking forward to bringing the atmosphere and culture of the Netherlands to Germany with the upcoming festival.
