A fresh wind is blowing through the cultural landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania! From June 27th to July 10th, 2025, the cultural raft Elde Ahoy! in our region and brings a colorful program with artists from music, theater and cabaret to the surface of the water. This innovative event combines culture and nature and transforms the banks into lively open-air stages.
The exciting tour starts in Lübz and extends via Parchim, Schwerin and Neustadt-Glewe almost to Dömitz and back. In total, visitors can expect a cornucopia of 13 free concerts, which take place daily at 7 p.m. Local clubs and initiatives ensure that there is no shortage of food, drinks and hands-on activities. The whole thing not only sounds like culture, but also invites you to socialize. Diverse artists and program
Among the artists are renowned names such as Leonzeug, the singer-songwriter from Rostock, and Kaddatz, a folk musician from Wismar. The TurTur Theater, which is located near Lübz, is also on board. The program is also supplemented by the Eldeblasorchester and other local music groups. There is something for every musical taste!
A special highlight is the family day on July 6th in the Neu Kaliß island factory. Here, guests big and small can look forward to a children's theater, a painting workshop and the opportunity to try out music. So Sunday will be a real family day that will be remembered fondly. The cultural events in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are becoming increasingly popular.
