New construction site map for Ludwigslust-Parchim: Stay informed now!
Traffic planning in the Ludwigslust-Parchim region is now supported by a new construction site map that was put online today. The map is on the district website at www.kreis-lup.de/baustellenkarte available and offers citizens an easy way to find out about current construction work on district, state, municipal and federal roads. This creates clarity about traffic disruptions and helps plan detours.
“No more construction site frustration!” is the headline of the Nordkurier and describes how the new map now gives road users the opportunity to specifically search for traffic disruptions in certain places or communities. Clicking on the color-coded signs provides information about the duration and type of closures as well as changed traffic routes. Red signs stand for full closures, yellow for partial closures and gray for other restrictions.
Current construction sites at a glance
The new map not only provides information about the closures, but also lists the current construction sites in the region:
- B321 in Bergrade Dorf: halbseitige Sperrung bis 30.06.
- B191 am Abzweig Darze: halbseitige Sperrung bis 27.06. wegen Radwegbau.
- Kreisstraße 117 in Greven: Sperrung auf 700 Metern bis 29.06. wegen Ausbauarbeiten.
- Brücke über die Dove in Dömitz: Vollsperrung der B195 bis 31. Dezember 2025 wegen Neubau.
- Neustädter Straße in Ludwigslust: 1,5 Kilometer lange Sperrung der Landesstraße 073 bis Anfang Juli wegen Fahrbahninstandsetzung.
- Hagenstraße in Hagenow: Vollsperrung auf 450 Metern bis August wegen Leitungsarbeiten.
Important measures on all roads
But it's not just in Ludwigslust-Parchim that construction is taking place. Extensive maintenance work is also pending on the surrounding A11, A14 and A19 motorways, which is currently affecting traffic. For example, the road on the A11 between Penkun and Pomellen has been repaired since June 13, 2025. Several measures are taking place on the A14, including a thorough renovation in the direction of Schwerin West, which will last until July 7, 2025. The A19 is also included in the construction program, including the Wittstock – Röbel and Malchow – Kiether Berg sections.
In addition, extensive work has also been announced on the federal highways B104 and B110, which will have a significant impact on the traffic situation. This focus on road infrastructure not only increases the safety of road users, but also improves the quality of life in the affected regions in the long term.
The new construction site maps are based on data from a state information system and should be updated regularly. The district plans to include future construction sites on the map in order to offer citizens the most comprehensive overview possible.
