Municipal anniversary: 59th motocross event promises fast-paced racing!
On July 6, 2025, things will get really hot again in Strasburg, because... 59th Strasburg Motocross is just around the corner! This sporting highlight also coincides with the big celebration of the city's 775th anniversary. The MC Touring Strasburg's preparations have been in full swing for weeks to offer visitors and participants an unforgettable event.
The motocross track on the B104 in Linchenshöh is transformed into a beating heart for motocross enthusiasts. Northern Courier reports that free training starts on July 6th at 8:30 a.m. This is followed by compulsory training and the first competitions begin. There are a total of eight exciting races on the program, including the competitions in theMX national championshipand the85 cubic centimeter class, who will fight for the coveted “Ingo Hirsch Memorial Cup”.
A full racing calendar
After a short lunch break they startState championship races in the MX2 classfor machines up to 250 cc four-stroke or 150 cc two-stroke. Furthermore, the classesEMS Openand theSeniors over 50also asked to take part in races. The excitement is inevitable when the drivers duel on the track.
Of course, the spectators won't be left out either. The events offer a variety of catering options so that both participants and visitors are well looked after. To the delight of fans, free parking is also available in newly created areas next to the cross track. This means you can enjoy the entire day to the fullest.
