Dancing across borders: Summer vacation workshop for children in Löcknitz!

In the small town of Löcknitz, there is as much to experience during the summer vacation as you can wish for. The clubs dancers without borders and dance club Pasewalk/Strasburg organized an exciting dance course for children and young people. The workshops will take place on July 26th and 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Gerhard-Eisler gymnasium-and the best thing: participation is free! Registrations are possible on 0162 6096310 with Stefanie Liekfeld. The motto of the project, "only courage - miej odwagę", speaks for himself and offers an excellent opportunity for children and adolescents to dance together and live out their creativity.

People have been meeting in the German-Polish border region since May to not only dance, but also to make new acquaintances and experience creative projects. Under the direction of the municipalities of Grambow and Kolbaskowo, a public final performance will also take place in the Eastoja Palace in Przeclaw on June 22nd at 3 p.m. Choreographer Be van Vark emphasizes the importance of courage in the current time and wants to bring people from Germany and Poland together with her work.

a musical adventure for students

The musical project, which is aimed at elementary school students of the 3rd to 6th classes, is also particularly exciting. These workshops, organized by a team of professional artists, bring the Polish tradition closer to the children in a playful way. The program consists of three parts: an introduction to stories such as the legend of Lech, Czech and Rus, followed by dance and pantomime exercises as well as the joint performance of Polish folk dances such as Polonaise, Mazurka and Krakowiak. The support of the Polish embassy, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in the State of Brandenburg and the Berlin Senate shows how important the cultural exchange is in the region.

long-term German-Polish cooperation

The cooperation between Germany and Poland goes far back. The European Youth and Family Aid (EJF) has initiated numerous projects in the areas of culture and social affairs since 1999. Over 25 years of close friendship and networking have created a lively community on both sides of the border. The educational and meeting centers such as the Arche Landhof and the Liepe Landhof have also contributed to creating a creative environment for children and adolescents.

Thanks to the financial and professional support from the EU and international programs, such as the Interreg program, Polish-German cooperation is flourishing. It enables numerous events that are aimed at children, young people and people with disabilities. A wide range of cultural experiences is offered to workshops in various creative areas to international integration events.

This initiative not only symbolizes the courage that is required in the current time, but also the opportunities that arise from cultural encounters and cooperation. The organizers have a good hand when it comes to building bridges between cultures and delighting younger generations for the neighbors in the east.

Enjoy the opportunity to dance, learn and learn cultural traditions - it is worth being part of this wonderful project!
