Baking with Santa Claus: Christmas magic in big and small!

The anticipation of Christmas is making waves in big and small! From December 2nd to 9th, the Börgerhus on Gerüstbauerring will be transformed into a vibrant center of festive activities, organized by the AWO and the district meeting center. On Tuesday, December 2nd, families can get involved by baking cookies directly with Santa Claus himself. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., little bakers are welcome to create their own sweet treats. To help you bake cookies, there will be another event for children aged six and over and young people on Monday, December 8th, which will also take place in the AWO youth center “224” from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

But that's not all! On Wednesday, December 3rd, helpers big and small will meet in front of the Börgerhus from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to decorate the Christmas tree together. This cozy event, which is accompanied by punch and bratwurst, further fuels the anticipation of the festival. Many people are already looking forward to the district Christmas market, which will take place on Tuesday, December 9th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Börgerhus. There is not only a colorful market with creative stalls, but also offers such as face painting, craft activities and bread by the fire. A highlight will be the announced fire show, which will festively round off the market.

The gift-giving is approaching!

All of these offers are open to anyone interested in the district - everyone is invited to become part of the Christmas spirit! The organizers have one small request: Anyone who takes part in baking cookies should bring their own cookie tins so that the fresh creations can be safely transported home. Further information about the events can be found directly in the Börgerhus and in the AWO youth center “224”.

Whether in Northern Germany or at the large Christmas markets in Munich, where there has been a lot of hustle and bustle since November 24th, the most wonderful time of the year is approaching. Munich is famous for its diverse markets, of which the oldest, the Christkindlmarkt at Marienplatz, is a real institution. Here you can look forward to Advent lighting, traditional delicacies and craftsmanship. If you want to treat yourself to a change, you will certainly find the right offer to celebrate the Christmas season in the city's numerous other Christmas markets, which are open until January.

The Christmas markets in the Munich districts are particularly popular and offer a wide range of offerings: from the traditional Bavarian flair at the Viktualienmarkt to the creative stalls in the Christmas village at the Residenz - there is something for every taste. The best way to immerse yourself in this festive spirit is to visit the Bavarian capital, which lets its light shine in the run-up to Christmas.

So if you want to enjoy the contemplative hustle and bustle in the coming weeks, there is a lot on the agenda in both regions. There is something in the air that promises to be a happy holiday!
