A contemplative time is coming up in Braunschweig! After a two-year break, the city is celebrating the return of its traditional Christmas market. From November 26th to December 29th, 2025, the festive atmosphere around St. Blasii Cathedral and German Unity Square will enchant visitors. The opening takes place on November 26th at 5:45 p.m. and the stands can be explored until 9:00 p.m.
What is there to discover? Around 140 stalls offer a captivating range of regional specialties and crafts. Whether it's festive treats or lovingly designed gifts - you'll find great options for the perfect Christmas present here. But that's not all! The Braunschweig Christmas market voucher, worth five euros, is available again and can be redeemed at any stand. The vouchers are now available at the tourist information office at Kleine Burg 14 and are popular gifts in the run-up to Christmas.
