A lot is happening in Celle in autumn! On August 12, 2025, the first preparations for the upcoming shopping Sundays in September, October and November will be announced. On these special days, the city not only expects bargain hunters, but also numerous visitors who can look forward to great events.
Especially on September 7th, guests can look forward to a street music festival from 1 p.m. A varied mix of music is offered here, with something for every taste. UKEboXX brings a breath of fresh air with their ukulele rock classics, while “Sing’ Marleen” is guaranteed to touch hearts with her special voice. Buddy Schmidt creates a good atmosphere with soulful and rocking songs, and Stefan Basler will present the well-known acoustic music from 70 years. The band Black Sheep won't be missing either, as they play hits by Billie Eilish and Paramore. A festival for all music lovers that should not be missed!
A day of safety in October
October 5th has the motto “Security Day” and also starts at 1 p.m. Here, security in the dark season is addressed in collaboration with the White Ring, Celle Police, Federal Police and other security organizations. There are also useful tips and support for protecting your home. Another highlight this month is the Celle Stallion Parades, which take place from October 3rd to 5th at 1 p.m. The mix of information and entertainment makes this day particularly interesting for families and safety-conscious citizens.
Medieval hustle and bustle in November
Things will get really historic on November 2nd! The medieval market attracts visitors to the old town from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Here visitors can browse between half-timbered houses, watch jugglers and buy handicraft products. A cultural mix of medieval hustle and bustle and modern shopping guarantees a unique experience for the whole family.
The shopping Sundays in Celle not only offer an extensive cultural program, but also numerous shopping opportunities. From fashion to decoration to culinary delights from the numerous cafés and restaurants – the city has something to offer for everyone. It is advisable to plan your journey by public transport, as the city center is easily accessible on foot. Parking is available in the Südwall underground car park or in the Schlosspark-Center.
