Scary in Delmenhorst: Halloween event shows new attractions!
In Delmenhorst, preparations for this year's Halloween event are in full swing. On October 31st and November 1st, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Bremer Straße will be the scene of a horrifying world of horror. This year the event is opening its doors over two days for the first time, and the organizers Bernd Bates and Tina Reinert are expecting a large number of visitors who can look forward to an unforgettable evening. The doors are open to anyone willing to immerse themselves in the eerie atmosphere.
The entrance fee of just one euro benefits the support association of the Youth at the Center (JiM) association. The event has developed positively in recent years: 120 visitors were expected in the first year, but the actual number was around 300. In 2024, the event took place in JiM due to a lack of space and attracted an impressive 2,000 visitors. The team has also announced some exciting innovations for 2025.
New attractions and safety measures
This year there will be exciting new features alongside tried-and-tested elements. The highlights include a scary tunnel and professional scarers. There will also be a fortune teller and a photo box with instant prints. “Little surprises at the exit” round off the spooky experience. Thanks to a total investment of 20,000 euros, of which 9,000 euros went into decoration and technology, the event promises to be a hit again.
The safety measures should also not go unmentioned: security and paramedics will be on site to ensure a safe experience for all visitors. Organizers have even doubled in size in 2025 to appeal to a wider audience: from children to adults looking for spooky entertainment.
Past and future of the Halloween event
Halloween, which falls on October 31st, has its roots in ancient traditions and is celebrated in many cultures. Especially in the Western world, Halloween has now become a social event in which horror, costumes and trick-or-treating are the main focus. This event in Delmenhorst is part of the tradition and is becoming more and more popular every year. The plans for the continuation of the event have already been made, and as long as JiM makes the area available, the spooky fun will continue.
So if you're looking for a mix of thrills and fun, you definitely shouldn't miss the scary world in Delmenhorst. Because over 2,000 visitors last year speak for themselves: guests can expect not only scary moments here, but also a feeling of community and, above all, a lot of joy - and all for a good cause. The anticipation is growing and the first scary moments are already waiting for the brave visitors.
