The Regionalliga Nord is in the starting blocks! The new season begins on July 25, 2025, which is already the 43rd season of the league. The tension among the teams is noticeable, because the master of the Regionalliga Nord has the opportunity to climb directly into the 3rd league. This means a very special motivation for the teams, since both the fame and the chance attract a higher league.

In a current coaching survey, the BSV Kickers Emden emerged as a big title favorite, with 15 voices in the favor of the coaches. But SV Meppen is also hot in the race with 14 votes and wants to go back to the 3. League as soon as possible. The coaches of the title candidates are optimistic and express clear ambitions:

What will also be noticeable throughout the league is the reduced capacity of 5,000 spectators in the Hoheluft stadium, which was determined for security reasons. So the fans have to become creative to experience the games up close.
