New Zealand ski sensation: Robinson wins giant slalom in Canada!

What an impressive achievement! New Zealand skier Alice Robinson made a splash at the giant slalom in Tremblant, Canada, securing victory by almost a second. The 24-year-old, who was born in Sydney on December 1, 2001, is continuing her successful career. Robinson impressed both the fans and the competition and became the first New Zealander to break numerous records in her discipline.

The competition was strong, but Robinson left Croatia's Zrinka Ljutic and Canada's Valerie Grenier behind. These two participants completed the race in second and third place. What was particularly exciting to watch was the decline of US skier Mikaela Shiffrin, who was in third place in the first round but finished the race in sixth place. The German athletes, however, were unable to make it into the top ten, with Emma Aicher achieving her best result in the World Cup in her weakest discipline with a 12th place. Lena Dürr had to finish the race in 21st place after a serious mistake in the first run.
