Saturday night was not an easy evening in Emden and Westoverledingen. Two dangerous physical injuries occurred in the darkness, which concerned the police in these two locations. According to the Ostfriesen Zeitung, the incidents are dated June 21, 2025.
In the first case, the arguments occurred in a vending machine kiosk on Ihrer Strasse in Westoverledingen. Unknown people stopped several customers and created a threatening atmosphere. During this altercation, a 24-year-old man was punched in the face and another 23-year-old was pushed and injured. Two other people, aged 19 and 26, also faced threats.

Less than five kilometers away, in the pedestrian zone of Emden, two men adopted a harassing attitude towards two other young men. A 24-year-old from Emden and a 27-year-old from Wolfsburg beat and kicked the victims, aged 22 and 25. They were slightly injured and required medical attention.
