Another worrying incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in Gifhorn when a 39-year-old man was stopped on the main road riding an e-scooter.
During the checks, the police found that the scooter driver had a breath alcohol level of 2.44 per mille. There were also indications of the use of narcotics, which further aggravated the situation. He was also banned from continuing his journey and a blood sample was taken. Such incidents not only call the local police into action, but also raise questions about the use of e-scooters.
