On Thursday, June 19th, Göttingen city center will once again be the scene of a colorful hustle and bustle, as the traditional “Broom Market” invites all shopping enthusiasts and families to look forward to a special shopping experience. Created by Göttinger Tageblatt in collaboration with the Pro City association and the Göttingen Marketing GmbH, the market offers an opportunity to browse the side streets of the city center and benefit from attractive offers.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m. During this time, visitors can not only shop in the traditional sense, but also enjoy the musical and dance supporting program. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the city center will be filled with live performances at various locations such as the Kornmarkt and Wilhelmsplatz. The event is titled “Shopping Beats” and promises to spice up the shopping day with rousing performances.
