The anticipation for cultural highlights in the region is growing! From July 2 to July 6, 2025, the picturesque city of Wernigerode will become the center of choral music for a few days. On the occasion of the 13th edition of the International Johannes Brahms-Chorf Festival, 20 choirs from 11 different nations will raise their voices and inspire the spectators with festive concerts and competitions. The festival becomes the platform for international encounters in the choral music scene and offers an extraordinary experience for all guests.
The participating choirs include the Sekolah Global Indo-Asia Children's Choir from Indonesia and the Nanjing Langang Children’s China. However, there is regrettable news: The Ankor Choir of the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance from Israel has canceled his participation. A very special event will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 6 p.m. in Goslar: a benefit concert in favor of the Goslarer Music Scene e. V. is held in the historical imperial Palatinate. No admission fee is charged for the musical enjoyment, instead the guests are asked to provide voluntary donations, which supports the important work of the association. The Goslarer Music Scene e. V. is a committed network of volunteers who are devoted to the promotion of culture with a strong focus on music and regularly organizes concerts, workshops and the "young stage" at the Goslar Old Town Festival.
The free tickets for the benefit concert are now available in the Kulturmarktplatz (Kuma) in Goslar, from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you want to be sure, you should strike quickly, because the tickets could be sold out quickly and on the event evening it could be difficult to get places.
