Hameln relies on fog: New system ensures refreshment in heat!

With the onset of summer heat, the city of Hameln has launched an innovative project that causes excitement: a state -of -the -art fog system was installed at the powder tower, which is supposed to ensure fresh air and pleasant cooling on hot days. A total of around 77,000 euros were invested for this. This measure aims to offer children, seniors and people with health impairments a welcome relief in the summer heat. The activation of this system is clever via movement sensors and temperature sensors that start from 25 degrees Celsius. At the same time, there are critical voices that question the high costs of the facility and the financial situation of the city.
