The whole thing happened around 4 p.m. on a sidewalk parallel to the S-Bahn line between Neubiberg and Ottobrunn. The situation escalated when the perpetrator kissed the girl, which ended in a scuffle in which the girl injured her hand. The alleged attack was observed by an alert train driver, who then alerted the police. The girl was able to escape the circumstances and ran to a friend, from where she informed her mother and the police. The investigators initially found no participants; it was only later, when the girl returned with her mother, that the police took solving the case seriously. The girl had to be taken to a children's clinic because of her hand injury, as Merkur reports.

The escaped perpetrator is described as around 30 years old, around 1.70 meters tall and slim. He has a southern appearance, very short black hair and acne scars on his face. His clothing included black glasses, a short dark shirt and light blue, tight jeans. This precise information is intended to help the police find the man quickly and increase safety in the community. In order to calm the population, there will be increased police patrols in Ottobrunn, as the Munich criminal police announced.
