An exciting event is just around the corner: the draw for the round of 16 matches DVV Cup for the 2025/26 season will take place on July 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the SPONTENT studio in Düsseldorf. As sportnews-hildesheim.de reports, the event will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel Dyn Volleyball, moderated by volleyball expert Janni Schick. There is great anticipation for the draw, with the focus clearly on reaching the final, which will take place on February 28, 2026 in the SAP Arena Mannheim. The focus is primarily on the defending champions: the BERLIN RECYCLING Volleys for men and Dresdner SC for women. A total of 16 starting places are available for the round of 16. The ten best-placed teams from last season qualify directly.
Round of 16 qualification and dates

The draw for these qualifying games is tough: Ludwigsburg meets Dachau and Warnemünde meets VC Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Match dates are yet to be announced, with the men's round of 16 matches already scheduled for November 8th and 9th, 2025. The quarter-finals will follow on November 25th and 26th, while the semi-finals will take place on December 16th and 17th.
