Sensational home wins: Eime, Negenborn and Lamspringe celebrate!
Last weekend there was a lot of excitement in the 1st district class Hildesheim/Holzminden. The home teams were in top form and celebrated impressive performances on the pitch. The teams from Eime/Banteln, Negenborn and Lamspringe in particular were able to delight their fans with thrilling games.
A highlight was the duel between SG Eime/Banteln and SSV Elze II. Here Dana Baumgart put the hosts on the road to victory with a goal shortly before half-time. After a corner that Elz goalkeeper Leonie Voß couldn't save, the only goal of the game was scored and secured Eime/Banteln their first win of the season with a narrow 1-0. Although SSV Elze II pressed after the break and created some good scoring opportunities, the hosts' defense held firm and didn't let anything go.
Big win for Negenborn
In contrast, VfB Negenborn delivered a real storm. With an impressive 6-0 win against SG Sack/Langenholzen, they showed the competition that they wanted to have a say this year. Emily Sophie Schoppmeier opened the scoring in the 14th minute, followed by further goals from Silke Rauls and Maya Kraus. Ultimately, the two top scorers were on the scoresheet several times, which sealed the clear victory.
There was no less exciting encounter between TuSpo Lamspringe and SV Holzminden. An early goal from Lenja Glatthor in the 22nd minute decided the game. Despite some efforts from Holzminden, Lamspringe was able to defend their narrow lead until the final whistle.
Looking into the future
The next exciting clash awaits spectators on September 16th at 6:30 p.m. when SG GoLüWa takes on Delligser SC. Fans can also look forward to the match between SV Freden and SG Wesertal, which will take place on October 26th at 10:00 a.m.
