This historic train will run every Wednesday between Soltau, Bispingen and Lüneburg until September 10th. The special highlight is the time when the heather is in bloom, which attracts many visitors.
The itinerary promises an unforgettable experience: the journey in Bispinger Heide Express is nostalgically designed, with open windows, a cozy atmosphere and the typical jerking of the old cars. The route leads through the flowering heath landscapes, whose colors are a strong purple, interrupted by the green splendor of the pines and junipers.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities in the surrounding towns. In Bispingen, the nature reserve invites you to take walks and carriage rides. The famous bell heather begins to bloom in June, while the broom heather develops its full splendor from August to September.
The best starting points for hikes are the heath towns of Niederhaverbeck, Oberhaverbeck and Undeloh.
