Citizens' consultation hour in Uelzen: Jan Henner Putzier is listening!
Next Friday, July 4th, SPD state parliament member Jan Henner Putzier invites you to his “Henner listens” consultation hour in the Dr. Peter Struck House in Uelzen. Between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., citizens have the opportunity to discuss their concerns and problems directly with the politician. Putzier wants to hear the voices of the people in his constituency and work on solutions that benefit them. However, those interested should register in advance, either by calling Johannes Flügge on 0176 80641065 or by email to johannes@janhennerputzier.de, like this Uelzen press reported.
Jan Henner Putzier, who has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since September 2023, previously served as chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Uelzen district council. He moved for Dr. Thela Wernstedt, who became president of the Hanover Monastery Chamber. The politician has familiarized himself with the large building complex of the state parliament as well as with various political trends, where he noticed the brutalization of the language in some factions. “Politics is not magic, you are always dealing with realities,” says Putzier Uelzen news explain.
An open ear for citizens
From the beginning, Putzier attached great importance to dialogue with the people in Uelzen and the surrounding area. This also includes practical experience, such as a 14-hour shift with paramedics, which gave him important insights into the challenges on site. “I see the need for different political levels to work together to actually achieve results,” he emphasizes.
He is particularly interested in promoting renewable energies, which he sees as an opportunity for the local economy. He calls for communities to share in the future revenue from these energies to ensure a fair distribution of the benefits. Furthermore, Putzier is positive about a clear decision to build the A39 and does not want to constantly reopen the debate about it.
Respond appropriately to challenges
As an active member of the Committee for Science and Culture, Putzier also wants to promote training opportunities in the Uelzen district. The BBS campus should focus on quality training, which is considered a location advantage. Putzier also expresses concern about the current situation at Volkswagen and appeals to the need to avoid plant closures.
However, in view of the economic situation, Putzier does not see any major supplier settlements in Uelzen and can therefore not yet assess the possible impact on the district. In his private life, the member of the state parliament is planning a peaceful Christmas with his family and would like to spend the New Year without any fireworks.
