An alarming incident occurred in Oldenburg city center on the night of Thursday to Friday. A 20-year-old man was the victim of a brutal attack at Lappan around 11:10 p.m. As the Picture Reportedly, police received several 911 calls from concerned witnesses who witnessed the incident. When emergency services arrived at the scene, the young man was in severe pain.
The preliminary sequence of events shows that the victim was initially put in a headlock by an unknown person and hit in the face several times. The man was then dragged to Grüne Straße, where the attacks continued. According to witness statements, a second perpetrator was involved in the attack. The main perpetrator finally pulled out a knife and stabbed the 20-year-old in the leg. He also had an unknown striking tool with him. The two attackers quickly fled when several witnesses approached.
Description of the perpetrators and current investigations
Police have released a description of the two attackers. The main perpetrator is between 185 and 190 cm tall and was dressed in sporty clothes. He is believed to be of Eastern European origin. The companion, on the other hand, was smaller, in the range of 165 to 170 cm, also dressed in sporty clothes and is also perceived to be of possible Eastern European origin.
