Court tilts murder against ex-RAF terrorist burdock!
Stuhr, Deutschland - The topic of crime remains burning in northern Germany. Daniela Klette, a former member of the RAF, has been on trial since March 25, 2025 because of her alleged participation in 13 raids. The process takes place in the Celle Higher Regional Court, which takes into account the high security requirements and the public interest. In addition to attempted murder for robberies and unauthorized weapons, burdock is also charged, as n-tv reports.
The Verden district court has now dropped the accusation of attempted murder against burdock in connection with an attack on a money transporter. The court came to the conclusion that there were shots in Stuhr on June 6, 2015, but apparently the shooter did not want to accept the driver's death. The defense of burdock rejected the allegations and made it clear that the driver was not specifically shot, as NDR announced.
raids with system
The indictment describes the procedure of the trio, which includes Burkhard Garweg and Ernst-Volker dust, as "division of labor and extremely conspiratorial". According to the authorities, the three committed raids in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein between 1999 and 2016-burdock was mostly at the wheel of the escape car.
Last but not least, the dimension of the new high -security hall is remarkable for the process. Clette criticized the cost of rent, which amounts to 3.6 million euros over two years. The process itself is interrupted for a month, the sequel is planned for the beginning of August, with further appointments until the end of the year.
statistical underpinning
The topic of raids and predatory offenses is not new - on the contrary. According to the [Statista] (https://de.statista.com/themen/2448/kriminalitaet-in-deutschland-dieble-undraub/), over 38,000 predatory offenses were recorded in Germany in 2022, although the number of over 42 attacks on financial institutions is also not to be neglected. With almost 60%, the clearance rate for predatory offenses is far above that of burglary theft.
It remains to be seen whether the burdock affair gives a view of the development of crime in Germany. One thing is certain: at a time when crime is very popular again, the question arises as to how we deal with it and where society draws borders. The tracking of crimes and the legal consequences are essential to ensure a safe environment for all citizens.
