Autumn Ball Game Festival in Osnabrück: Free fun for children!

On Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, the Westerberg vocational school center in Osnabrück will be transformed into a real fireworks display! The colorful hands-on festival for children and families will take place there from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with an exciting program of various ball games and exercise stations. The event aims to promote team spirit and joy of playing - fun is clearly the focus. As the NOZ reported, no registration is required, which makes participation particularly uncomplicated.

The festival is organized by the Children's Movement City (KiBS) of the Osnabrück Community Foundation and the Osnabrück Ballschule e.V. The event is supported by the BKK firmus. Participation is free, allowing families to have a great morning without breaking the bank. This is a wonderful example of how local initiatives get children moving and create a sense of community.

Regular sports activities for Osnabrück children

Anyone who would like to stay active after the festival has the opportunity to take part in the regular ball games, which take place in the hall of the vocational school center every Tuesday from November from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. until February. In summer, however, weekly ball games are offered on football fields in seven districts of Osnabrück - perfect for everyone who can't put the ball down!

Such events are not only an excellent opportunity to exercise, but also strengthen the sense of belonging within the community. Parents and children can play together and make new friends.

Improve your English skills

While we are committed to sports, there are also exciting developments in the education sector. The HLCA, for example, offers online English classes specifically tailored for medical professionals. This could be particularly interesting for those who want to improve their English skills professionally. According to the HLCA The courses cover useful medical phrases and are tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals.

A particular focus here is on flexible, adaptable learning. The teachers are trained professionals who not only show patience but can also answer specific questions about medical topics. This provides an important tool for being professionally successful in international exchange.

Overall, these initiatives show how important it is to bring both exercise and education into the lives of children and adults. From playful activities to valuable language skills – there is something for everyone here in Osnabrück!
