According to the latest information from AZ Online The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of violent thunderstorms and heavy rain that could hit the region in the coming days. A low pressure area over the British Isles is causing unsettled weather conditions and making the forecast appear bleak.

Already on Tuesday, September 2nd, many cities in Bavaria had to suffer from heavy rain and gusts of up to 60 km/h. The state capital Munich was not spared either; the overnight rain caused the streams to swell and the streets to become wet. The weather forecast for Wednesday, September 3rd promises that a friendly mix of sun and clouds will accompany the day. But the calm could be deceptive, because we will face further challenges until Friday, September 5th. It is expected to be partly cloudy to partly cloudy, with occasional showers possible.

Outlook for the coming days

A southwesterly current will bring warm sea air into the region, bringing the possibility of fog with visibility below 150 meters in southern Bavaria. However, we must not forget that Friday will again be marked by lots of clouds and heavy rain, so the anticipation for the weekend may be put to the test. However, there are bright prospects: temperatures could climb above 25 degrees at the weekend.
