Future of water: Vechta starts sustainable vision for the district!

Vechta, Deutschland - On July 8, 2025, the final event of the “Wasservision Vechta” project took place in the Vechta district house. Numerous actors from the areas of administration, agriculture, politics, science and civil society came together to discuss the future of water in the Vechta district. Under the motto "Think of the future together - results. Impulses. Participation." presented the project coordinator Lisa Grützmacher the findings and results of the past few months, which are based on extensive quantitative and qualitative studies.

In the well -attended event, the visionary basis for sustainable water management in the district was presented. Hyco Verhagen landscape architect played a central role here by presenting the jointly developed vision. Moderated by Tanja Föhr, the event was lively designed by graphic recording. The focus was on the discussion of the implementation of this vision, which was deepened in its second part.
