It was a thrilling duel in the district football cup when WSC Frisia prevailed in a nerve-wracking match against GW Firrel on September 3, 2025. With a final score of 5:4, the game began in the third round and offered the spectators a first-class spectacle. The Frisia boys had to struggle with numerous failures, but they didn't let that bother them and showed a remarkable team performance, which coach Jürgen Hahn praised in the highest tones.

The decision ultimately came in the last minute with a precise shot from Degen, which ensured the final 5:4 victory.
