The first German settlers already came to today's Russia at the time of the Kiev Rus. Over the centuries, there have been numerous waves of immigration and difficulties, including the forced collectivization under Stalin, which shaped many fortunes. From 1941, many Russian Germans, including Valeri and Lydia, experienced the terrible consequences of World War II when many were deported. This resulted in an impressive migrant story that has significantly influenced the root of Valeri and Lydia Wagner to this day. The possibility of emigration and return to Germany in the 1980s finally represented a turning point.
Valeri and Lydia Wagner are not only proof of a constant partnership, but also for the tireless will to preserve and keep your own identity in a foreign country. Your gold wedding is therefore not only a celebration of love, but also a sign of resilience and hope.
