Two students aged 14 and 15 sprayed irritant gas in a men's toilet at the school around 11:30 a.m. The rapid deployment of emergency services and the fire department was necessary because around 50 people, including 45 students, four teachers and an employee of a catering service, complained of symptoms such as eye irritation, coughing and nausea. Fortunately, the fire department was unable to detect any dangerous substances, which was a relief for everyone involved. “It was a big operation,” said a fire department operations manager, who also confirmed that there was no longer any danger to the students and staff after everything was well ventilated.

The police immediately started an investigation to clarify the origin and those responsible for this incident. The perpetrators, who were quickly identified, are now facing charges of grievous bodily harm. “We take something like this seriously,” said a police spokesman. Even if no serious damage was caused in this situation, it could have consequences for the two young perpetrators.
